I went to see a student production of Buffy's Once More With Feeling last night. It was awesome. I had to deal with some horrible singing and horrible acting, but a few of them were really good too! The guy who played the demon was excellent. He got the biggest applause. They missed a few lines and cues, but no one really cared and the crowd kept cheering and applauding at every turn. It was such a geek fest, omg. The girl on my left kept singing along under her breath and on my right was an intense discussion on "how did you feel about the ending of the 6th season?". The girl who played Dawn looked exactly like Dawn but also had the thickest Scottish accent, looool. After Giles sang his song, someone yelled, "RUPERT, YOU SEXY BEAST!" and I cracked up so bad.

I'm a dork. I'm sure you knew that by now, anyway. ;)

And lastly, some shameless pimping! James has written a superhero!AU that is going to be her BBB fic this year. I've betaed it, kinda, but I'm not a native speaker, she's not a native speaker, so it'd be awesome if someone felt like taking on the job of going through it for her. It's ~60k in length, pairings J/S (main), R/B, P/P, NC-17, warnings for mentions of non-con, violence, minor character death and being awesome. James has notoriously bad luck with betas who don't do their jobs whereas I've always had amazing luck with betas, so here's hoping some of my good luck will rub on her! Send her a PM if you're a grammar fanatic with enough time on your hands to take on the job.
